HMCPSI was invited by the Director of Legal Services to conduct an inspection of the quality of legal casework undertaken by the Health and Safety Executive’s Legal Services Division (LSD). The review found strong evidence that LSD is delivering high-quality prosecutions. As with any organisation, there are areas for improvement, and we have made eight recommendations to support further development. The full findings are detailed in the published report.
