An inspection by invitation of the quality of casework in the Service Prosecuting Authority.

HMCPSI was invited by the Director of Service Prosecutions to carry out an inspection of the quality of the Service Prosecuting Authority’s casework. The findings were positive with evidence of good quality legal decision making and effective case progression. As with all organisations, there are some aspects that can be improved and we made seven recommendations to address these. The findings are set out in full in the report.
